Your first visit to MMF: a simple OPD guide
New Building for Eye. Old Building for the polyclinic. Here is what to expect on arrival, which department sits where, and how to make the most of your first walk-in at Shadbagh.
Walking into a busy hospital for the first time can feel confusing. Muhammadi Medical Foundation keeps the campus split for clarity: Eye services run from the New Building, while Cardiac, General Physician, ENT, Audiology, Dermatology and Physiotherapy sit in the Old Building polyclinic.
Arrive with a national ID card, any previous reports, and a short note of your main complaint and current medicines. Reception can direct you to the right desk. Eye OPD is in the New Building; for other specialties, follow signs to the Old Building. Clinics generally run Monday to Saturday — exact hours differ by department, so check the OPD timetable on this website or ask at the counter.

Expect a registration step, a wait for your turn, and a consultation that may include basic tests. If you need a follow-up, ask the doctor for the next preferred day and whether any fasting or preparation is required. Keep receipts and reports together in one folder for your next visit.
The Trust was founded as a welfare project. Fees and support options can vary by service; if cost is a concern, speak quietly with the desk — staff are used to guiding families with care and dignity. We Serve, We Care is not only a motto; it is how the campus tries to treat every walk-in patient.
