Welfare care under one roof — since 1979
From a small dispensary to a modern campus in Shadbagh, Muhammadi Medical Trust has grown with Lahore. The promise has not changed: exceptional treatment regardless of social status.
Muhammadi Medical Trust began in 1979 when Muhammad Shafique Janjua and a group of philanthropic families opened a small dispensary for the community. As patient numbers rose, the Trust moved to a larger building, invited specialist doctors, and — with the people of Lahore — built a hospital especially known for eye care.
Today the campus holds a flagship Eye Department beside a polyclinic that covers cardiac care, general medicine, ENT, audiology, dermatology and physiotherapy. Patient visits grew to more than two hundred thousand in 2024, with eye check-ups alone counting for a large share. Expansion of Unit 1 continues so physiotherapy, general OPD, theatres and wards can keep pace with demand.

What has not changed is the founding idea: care without distinction. The Trust’s vision and values rest on Quranic teaching — helping one another in goodness and piety. That spirit shows up in free camps when announced, in staff who guide anxious families, and in consultants who treat every patient with the same clinical seriousness.
If you live in Shadbagh or travel from farther afield, you are welcome on campus. Bring your questions, your reports, and the hope of being seen properly. We are still here for the same reason we started — to serve and to care.
